MND said (26) that General Promotion on July 1st 2017 was approved by the President. Major General Hsi-Ju Huang along with other 7 were promoted to Lieutenant General whilst Colonel Shun-Wen Shih along with other 14 were promoted to Major General. The promotion had been effective since July 1st 2017.
MND said that 7 members promoted to Lieutenant General were named Hsi-Ju Huang, Chi-Chen Ho, Shu-Ming Chung, Chin-Kuang Chen, Chan-Hao Hu, Hua Tang, and Jen-Yuan Liu; 14 members promoted to Major General were named Shun-Wen Shih, Hung-Ta Chiang, Chih-Wei Lien, Wei-Lin Chen, Wei-Tsung Tseng, Ma-Hsi Lin, Yen-Wen Chou, Erh-Jung Liu, Yen Lin, Ou Chin, Chung-Wei Hu, Jih-Sheng Hsieh, Jen-Ming Yu, and Wen-Yen Hsu.
MND said the ceremony was set on June 27th (Tuesday) at 0900 and held by Director Feng. All the promoted members’ families were invited on that day and the President would be present as an encouragement.
